pnk-ai privacy policy

Effective October 12, 2026

pnk-ai is the internal reporting and planning tool of Pennock, a marketing agency. When a brand that works with Pennock connects one of its accounts, such as an online store, an advertising account or an analytics property, pnk-ai reads that account's performance data for the Pennock team. This policy covers what pnk-ai reads, what it keeps, and how to disconnect it.

What pnk-ai reads

Performance data, as totals for each day:

• Sales: orders, sales, discounts, returns, shipping and taxes
• Advertising: spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and conversion value
• Site and search: visits by channel, and search clicks and impressions

It also reads each account's name, time zone and currency, so that figures line up with the account's own calendar.

pnk-ai does not collect or keep information about individual customers, such as names, email addresses or order details.

Why

So that Pennock can report on and plan your marketing: comparing results with advertising spend and with the plan agreed with you. The data isn't used for anything else.

Who can see it

Only Pennock staff. The data is not sold, and it is not shared with other clients or third parties.

How long it's kept

While an account is connected and Pennock works with you, so that reports can compare months and years. Records of the data we receive are kept only as long as the figures they back. If you disconnect an account, pnk-ai's access ends immediately, and you can ask us to delete what we hold for it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, account credentials are encrypted at rest, and access is limited to Pennock staff.

Disconnecting

You can remove pnk-ai's access at any time in the platform's own settings, where connected apps are listed, or by asking Pennock to disconnect it.

Shopify

• Pennock Insights, pnk-ai's Shopify app, is read-only: it never changes anything in your store.
• Shopify requires apps that use its sales reports to request access to protected customer data. pnk-ai receives and keeps only the daily store totals described above.
• To remove it, uninstall Pennock Insights in your Shopify admin under Settings > Apps. Access ends at once, and when Shopify asks us to erase your store's data, 48 hours later, pnk-ai deletes all of it.
• Shopify forwards customers' requests to see or erase their data to every app a store has installed. pnk-ai holds no customer-level data, so there is nothing to hand over or erase.
